Shea Victoria——Yoga has brought me a challenge that I can continuously work on and it has brought me a lot of perseverance
I have loved my yoga journey thus far. I've had an active lifestyle for some time, but I properly started yoga two years ago when the pandemic really began. I started because I was looking for a challenge and really wanted to learn headstand. One thing led to another and I was learning all sorts of new asanas and flows and I never looked back. Yoga has brought me a challenge that I can continuously work on and it has brought me a lot of perseverance. It also led me to get my 200-hour yoga teacher training, so I am certified in Vinyasa. Moreover, I have gained so much strength from yoga physically as well as greater mobility and flexibility. I love yoga because I can keep working at it and improving; it is impossible to be perfect at it and that is the best part because my practice is unique to me. I highly recommend yoga, and any type of yoga, because of the health benefits and positive challenges it brings. You can find something new in your practice every time you step onto your mat.
